permaculture design

We try to use principles of permaculture by…..

  • Keeping the whole site and all its inhabitants in mind as a whole system

  • Aiming for balance - being guided by care for land, care for people and fair share for all.

  • Catching and storing energy from the site

  • Using renewable resources where possible

  • Producing no waste

  • Being patient for slow solutions

  • Using and valuing diversity

Coppice Designs Mobile Craft Workshop, Summer 2018

Coppice Designs Mobile Craft Workshop, Summer 2018

  • Coppice Designs: Coppiced hazel from a nearby SSSI wood, is used to craft a range of rustic furniture.

  • One day and weekend chair making and bench making courses available

  • No experience needed

“Really enjoyed the day. The concentration involved was just enough to
distract from everyday problems/current affairs (didn’t think about
Brexit once) but not enough to mean we couldn’t chat along the way.
Have already recommended to a couple of people.” Julie, chair making course participant 2019
